Copernicus Atmosphere Workshop 2024
October 4, 2024 @ 09:00 – 16:00
The Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) Workshop will cover atmospheric phenomena like dust storms, air quality assessments, and climate monitoring. This hands-on session will focus on using CAMS data and tools to assess air quality and track atmospheric changes relevant to Iceland.
This workshop will provide participants with practical experience in using atmospheric monitoring tools and analyzing real-world datasets via Jupyter notebooks.
Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of atmospheric science or satellite data is recommended but not mandatory. Participants should bring their own laptops.

Repositories
https://github.com/lmi/copernicus – This repository contains code, scripts, and resources for hands-on sessions covering Land, Marine, and Atmosphere monitoring using data and services from Copernicus.
https://github.com/ecmwf-training/cams-act6 – This repository contains the Jupyter notebooks used for the practical sessions of the 6th joint ECMWF CAMS, ESA and EUMETSAT training in atmospheric composition. Some of the notebooks were presented during hands-on exercise of the Copernicus Atmosphere workshop Iceland.
