8th High Latitude Workshop 2024

This two-day workshop focuses on in-situ measurements, remote sensing, modeling, and the long-range transport of high latitude dust in the Arctic. It is expected participation of scientists from 12 countries, and over 30 presentations on various aspects of HLD and related aerosols, emphasizing their impacts on the cryosphere and climate.

An important part of the workshop is the CAMS User Engagement Session, which openes a platform for multidisciplinary discussions on air pollution monitoring in Iceland. The session will highlight the integration of CAMS data and introduce the National Collaboration Programme.
